Cake sizes

Why do we mark the diameter along with the cakes?

In the case of our cakes, along with the number of slices, we also mark the size of our cakes with a diameter. This is also important because the number of slices in a cake of the same diameter can be different, as a flatter cheesecake has typically larger slices, while a taller, creamy cake is worth cutting thinner slices.

How to calculate the size of our cake?

A 2-3 cm slice of the taller, denser doughy, creamier cakes is enough, for the lighter creamy cakes approx. 4-5cm is a slice of cake. An important consideration when determining cake slices is whether the cake is intended for adults or children. Children tend to cut smaller slices from the start because they don’t usually eat as much as an adult. Consider all of the above before choosing the size of your cake!

What size can we make our cakes?

We can make our cakes in several sizes and slices. Our cakes are counted in adult portions. Most of our cakes are taller than an average cake slice, so a thinner slice is enough.

11 cm – 5 slices
17 cm – 10 slices
23 cm – 18 slices
29 cm – 36 slices
35 cm – 60 slices

We also undertake the preparation of cakes up to 300 slices for events.

Order layered cakes

For layered cakes, the slice numbers add up level by level. Cakes of different tastes can be ordered on each layer, in which case the decoration is uniform, we decorate the cake outside according to the ordered design. The layers can only be stacked one after the other! For tiered cakes we insert a wood stand into the cakes and place a paper tray between the cakes – on the one hand for easier slicing, and on the other hand to distribute the weight of the cakes on top of each other. These should be taken out of the cake when slicing.
